Message as a seller
Open an order on the Received orders page and choose Message under Payment and Buyer. Read the existing thread, then send the buyer a focused update or question.
Unread buyer messages show a message chip on the order row. Selecting it opens the relevant thread. A seller message can also email the buyer a link back to the conversation when the buyer's preference and delivery-safety limits allow it.
Message as a buyer
Open My Orders, expand the order, and choose Message Seller. Buyers who checked out without an account can sign in with the same checkout email to see matching orders and threads.
Seller replies appear in the order thread and can also appear as an unread chip, bell notification, and email prompt when the applicable account and delivery controls allow them.
Messages stay attached to their exact operational order. Protected receipt records do not have live message threads, and a buyer should use the account that owns the live order or the same checkout email used for it.
Privacy and notifications
The thread is not public and is intended for the buyer and seller for that order, but it is not an end-to-end encrypted secrets vault. Messages are limited to 2,000 characters. Do not put login, authenticator, or recovery codes; API keys; passwords; crypto secrets; full payment credentials; or one-time access links in a thread.
The Order message received row in Account Notifications controls the email notification. Turn off its email channel when in-site bell alerts are sufficient; the conversation remains available either way.
The saved order thread is the source of truth. Delivery-safety controls can withhold an unusual burst of email prompts without removing a message that was already accepted into the thread. Reopen the thread before sending the same text again.
Use order messages for a specific order. Use EZFormz support only for website account access, errors, broken tools, uploads, or bugs. Product, payment, refund, shipping, pickup, or seller-policy questions belong with the form owner.
