Log in with an email code

Sign in with a login email code

Outcome: Request and use the newest six-digit email code, then complete any configured 2FA step.

What you'll do

Request a sign-in code for the email address that owns your EZFormz account, then use the newest message that actually arrives. Normal production sign-in uses email codes, not an account password.

Steps

  1. Open Log In.
  2. Enter the exact email address for the account you need and submit the request.
  3. Check your inbox for a message from noreply@ezformz.net with the subject Your EZFormz login code or Your EZFormz sign-up code. Open the message to find the six-digit code in its body.
  4. Enter the newest code within 15 minutes.
  5. If you enabled 2FA, enter the current code from your authenticator app after the email code.

If you already registered a passkey, you can instead choose Sign in with passkey and approve the browser prompt. That route does not wait for an email code.

What happens next

After an accepted request, the login page moves to code entry and tells you to check your inbox. This neutral response does not confirm whether the address already had an account or whether the email provider accepted a message.

After successful verification, you return to the page you requested or to your dashboard. If the address did not already have an account, the production login flow creates one and asks you to accept the current terms before continuing.

EZFormz applies a 60-second resend cooldown. A request made during that minute does not send or replace the earlier code; use the code already in your inbox. After the cooldown, a newly issued code replaces the earlier one. Every issued code expires 15 minutes after it was created, and a code consumed as the email factor cannot be replayed.

Without Remember me, a session is issued for up to 24 hours. Remember me uses a seven-day session. Active sessions can renew near expiry, so use Log Out when you are finished on a shared device.

If the code is missing or rejected

  • Search every mailbox folder for noreply@ezformz.net, Your EZFormz login code, or Your EZFormz sign-up code.
  • Check Spam, Promotions, Updates, All Mail, Trash, filters, and blocked senders.
  • Confirm that you entered the same email address that owns the form. Separate emails are separate accounts.
  • If you requested again within 60 seconds, try the existing code. After a later email actually arrives, discard every earlier code.
  • Request a fresh code if 15 minutes passed.
  • If an authenticator code fails, set your phone time automatically and try the next code on the same screen.

If the request was accepted but no message arrives, submit a support ticket with the account email and the approximate request time. Do not send a login code in the ticket.

Keep multiple accounts straight

Forms remain with the account that owns them. Signing in with another email does not merge accounts or move forms. Use the owner email shown in prior EZFormz messages, or contact support if ownership needs to be reviewed. Deleting an unused account is separate from transferring a form.
